海角社区 and Bute Council has welcomed the news that four projects in the area will benefit from the Scottish Government鈥檚 Islands Programme and the Carbon Neutral Islands Fund.
The funding aims to create and safeguard infrastructure projects on islands, with the Scottish Futures Trust providing coordination and advice.
The following projects were successful in 海角社区 and Bute:
Islands Programme
- Redevelopment of the former Royal Hotel on Bute - 拢400,000
- Community Halls Digital Hubs, Colonsay, Jura, Luing and Lismore, 拢125,000
- Lighthouse Keepers Cottages Heritage Project, Tiree - 拢306,050
- Ulva Landing Craft, Ulva - 拢40,020
Carbon Neutral Islands Fund
- Decarbonisation of Islay Community Buildings (phase 2) - 拢401,843
Council Leader, Councillor Jim Lynch, said:

George Hanson, Director of George Hanson (Building Contractors) Ltd, who received funding towards the renovation of the Royal Hotel in Rothesay, added:
